Independent Consultant
We are looking for experienced salespeople whose approach to sales is one of service and consultation; who communicate technology in a way that’s compelling and easy to understand; who are driven to serve others and look for ways to create positive experiences beyond the norm.
As an Independent Consultant, you’ll help business owners sign up for Appointbook through various channels of Sales and Marketing. This can include a combination of Face-to-Face, Social Networking, Phone Sales, Direct Mail, Trade Shows, Events, Social Media and much more. With Appointbook, you have the freedom to fit your business to your needs, your lifestyle and your natural talents.
Your target customers are service providers who regularly work by appointment. This includes Hair Stylists, Massage Therapists, Personal Trainers, Business or Life Coaches, Acupuncturists, Dog Groomers, Accountants, Plumbers, spiritual practitioners, and many more.
Responsibilities
- Market Appointbook with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
- Perform enlightening presentations and informative product demonstrations.
- Answer questions and invite prospective customers to sign up.
- Help businesses with the sign up process and follow up to ensure their success.
- Promptly respond to client requests and honor all commitments.
- Take every opportunity be of service and exceed customer expectations.
- Build a network of referrals and look for new opportunities to increase revenue.
- Provide ongoing product support as needed and immediately report any bugs to Appointbook.
- Understand and abide by all terms outlined in the Operating Agreement and related Program Documentation.

- 2+ years of sales experience

Compensation
As an Independent Consultant, you can decide what’s important to you, set your goal and go for it! Startup Costs
As an Independent Consultant, the out of pocket expense to get started with Appointbook is $50. This is NOT a get rich scheme or multi-level marketing business. There is NO incentive or reward for recruiting other sales people. Starting this business will require a little money, a good deal of time, and a healthy amount of dedication.
ANNUAL PROGRAM REGISTRATION FEE – $50 (Required – Only $5 with purchase of Business Starter Kit)
The Program Registration fee helps offset a small portion of Appointbook’s cost to administer the Independent Consultant Program.
BUSINESS STARTER KIT – $45 (Optional)
The Business Starter Kit includes the training, resources, and materials you’ll want to establish a solid business foundation. Included in your kit:
- One year Appointbook scheduling subscription
- Personalized one-on-one website training session
- One year Appointbook email subscription
- 1,000 Independent Consultant business cards

Appointbook will make reasonable efforts to accommodate those physical or mental limitations of an otherwise qualified Independent Consultant.
As an Independent Consultant, you will be solely responsible for your business, including its operation, marketing plan, advertising expenses, generation of leads, and any other legal or financial responsibilities required to run your business. Participation in the program requires a $50 Program Registration Fee (Only $5 with purchase of Business Starter Kit). This fee is fully refundable within 90 days of Appointbook’s receipt of your payment.
Use of resources and materials included in the optional Business Starter Kit are subject to the terms listed in the Independent Consultant Operating Agreement and Program Documentation. All communications sent through the Company’s network of services may be monitored for quality. This includes emails sent through the company email server and phone calls placed or received through the Company’s toll free number. In addition, all emails sent through the Company’s network, voicemails left on the Company’s phone system, and leads shared with the Company are the property of the Company. At any time should your participation in the program be terminated, all Independent Consultant subscriptions will be canceled and your use of the remaining materials must cease without exception. The business starter kit fee is nonrefundable.
Appointbook does not offer a marketing plan. Sales & Marketing coaching sessions may be offered from time to time through accredited third-party providers (“Approved Providers”) and are intended to help you develop your own marketing strategy. Your participation in this coaching is entirely optional. As an Independent Consultant, you are responsible for the success and operation of your business. You will have the freedom to define and operate your own marketing plan subject to the terms of the Operating Agreement and associated Program Documentation.
